Lindsayhallart.com (this "Site") is owned and operated by Lindsay Hall [Lindsay Hall Art]. Lindsay Hall Art is a sole proprietorship based in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. Any instance of “we”, “us”, and/or “our” in the following Terms/Policy denotes Lindsay Hall/Lindsay Hall Art.

What type of information do we collect?

We utilize Wix to host this Site. Wix facilities the collection, receipt, and storage of any information you enter on our Site. We also collect, receive, and store any information you provide to us in any other way, such as via email. This information includes, but is not limited to: name, e-mail address, and phone number. In addition, Wix collects the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet, computer and connection information, and purchase history. 

 

Our site also utilizes third-party apps to deploy cookies to assist with functionality, analytics, and marketing. We may use software tools, such as Google Analytics, to measure and collect session information, including, but not limited to: page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page, location, and device type. Google Analytics also collects information in regards to advertisement personalization such as demographics, location, behavior, and interest data.

How do we collect information?

We obtain personal information in three main ways:

  1. You provide some of it directly to us.

    • When you submit through any of the contact forms on this Site, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, email address, phone number, and your reason for contacting us. When you conduct a transaction on our Site, as part of the process, we [and Wix] collect personal information you give us such as your name, mailing address, and email address.

  2. We record some of it automatically when you visit our Site.

    • ​​W​​hen you accept the use of cookies on our Site, these cookies are used to collect information through both the Wix platform analytics as well as an integration of Google Analytics and Google advertising.

  3. We receive some of it from third parties.

    • ​​​Third-party apps may also deploy cookies to track user sessions and preferences.

For online transactions, we utilize the third-party transaction partner, Square. Square collects information such as your name, mailing address, email address, billing address, and payment details. As stated previously, information such as your name, mailing address, and email address are collected by us as well. However, transactional information such as billing address and payment details are collected by Square and are not accessible to us.

 

Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated below only.

 

Why do we collect such information?

We collect both personal information and non-personal information for the following purposes:

 

  1. To provide and operate services such as: providing personal responses to inquiries/concerns, fulfilling your order(s), and sending e-mail newsletters if you have opted-in;

  2. To provide our users with ongoing customer assistance and technical support;

  3. To be able to contact our users with general or personalized service-related notices and promotional messages;

  4. To create aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred non-personal information, which we may use to provide and improve our services.

How do we store, use, share, and disclose site visitors' information?

This Site is hosted on the Wix.com platform. This online platform allow us to sell our products and services to you, as well as conduct general communications with our users via e-mail if they have submitted a question/comment through one of our forms or have opted-in to our newsletter services. Our Site’s store processes payments through Square. Google Analytics stores data and generates reports for our use that allow us to better understand our users and how they interact with our site. Your data may be stored through Wix, Square, Google Analytics, and any implemented third-party applications integrated on our Site.

Wix adheres to the standards set by PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Sensitive cared data is never handled by, or accessible to, Wix or Lindsay Hall Art; it goes directly to the payment processor's servers (Square). Square complies with all required PCI standards and encrypts all customer-submitted data to their servers, regardless of whether you are using a public or private WiFi connection or a data service on your phone.

 

We will never sell your personal information to any third-party services and will not share your personal information with any third-party services aside from those integrated into our Site including, but not limited to: Wix, Square, and Google Analytics unless required by law, governmental request, or court order that, based on our good faith belief, we believe necessary to conform or comply with such law, request, or court.

How do we communicate with our site visitors?

We may contact you to notify you regarding your account, to troubleshoot problems with your account, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees owed, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, or to send updates about our company. For these purposes we may contact you via email, telephone, and/or postal mail. For all general contacting, email will be the standard mode of communication. Should there be an issue submitting to the email address provided, you may be contacted using the phone number or address you provided with either a phone call or postal mail, respectively. 

If you have subscribed to newsletters, you will be added to our e-mailing list and will receive newsletters according to the terms you agreed to when opting-in. You are allowed to opt-out and unsubscribe at any time. You can do so by utilizing the "unsubscribe" feature linked in the bottom of any of our newsletters.
