Shipping Policy

Where

At the moment, Lindsay Hall Art only ships domestically in the United States. If you are international and are interested in making a purchase please contact me at lhallart@gmail.com with the work’s title and a general shipping destination (city, country) to discuss possible shipment.

 

Please ensure you provide the correct address for shipping. Lindsay Hall Art is not responsible for packages shipped to an incorrect destination if the customer provided it. If you think you have made a mistake in your address, please contact me at lhallart@gmail.com ASAP so I can make the correction prior to shipment.

NOTE: once you have received your shipping notification, the address cannot be changed.

 

How

Most work ships out via the United States Postal Service and will be shipped either First Class or Priority Mail (depending on the package’s weight). Some works are too large for the USPS and thus will be shipped via the UPS. See each item's individual "shipping" tab for further information regarding how that specific work will ship.

 

The default "standard" shipping is offered at no additional charge, but you have the option of upgrading to "express" shipping for an additional fee during checkout. See each item's individual "shipping" tab for further information regarding how that specific work will ship.

 

Orders will be shipped in either flat rigid mailers or boxes (depending on the depth of the work). Items will be packed to best ensure security in transport. In an effort to be environmentally-conscious, some works will be shipped out in pre-loved packaging (so long as it still has full integrity). Most new packaging comes from EcoEnclose, which provides sustainable packaging. Cost

Standard shipping––either USPS First Class, USPS Priority, or UPS Ground depending on the item's size/weight––is offered at no additional charge to the buyer. If a faster delivery is necessary, every work has the option to upgrade to "express" shipping at checkout for an additional charge. All shipments are insured.

 

Local

Local pick-up and delivery options are available upon request. 

The pick-up location is in Boxford, Massachusetts. Those opting to pick the work up themselves will not pay any shipping costs, unless they would like the work fully packaged (otherwise it will only be wrapped in kraft paper and/or sandwiched between cardboard).

Local delivery is available for those within a 15-mile radius of Boxford, Massachusetts at no additional charge. The work will be either wrapped in kraft paper and/or sandwiched between cardboard, but will not be fully packaged unless requested by the customer.

Processing

Processing time is the time it takes to prep your order to ship.

Please allow 1-5 business days for your order to be shipped out. You will be notified via email when your order has shipped.

 

NOTE: once you have received your shipping notification, any adjustments to your order (such as correcting a misspelled address) will not be possible.

 

Delivery

Delivery time is the time it takes for you to receive your work after it has been shipped.

Orders are shipped out using either the United States Postal Service or UPS, depending on their size. See each item's individual "shipping" tab for further information regarding how that specific work will ship. 

Typical delivery times are between 1-10 business days. You will receive a tracking number once your order has been submitted for shipment. 

 

NOTE: there may be shipping delays up to 3-weeks due to Covid-19.

Return Policy

Returns/Exchanges

Due to the handmade nature of my work, returns/exchanges are typically not accepted. Please ensure you review the ‘item specs’ of each work prior to placing your order.

 

Your satisfaction is of utmost importance to me so please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns; I will do my best to work with you towards a solution.

 

Damage

In the event that you receive a damaged product, please contact me at lhallart@gmail.com within 2 days of receiving your purchase with a description of the damage along with images. If a return is to be issued, the defective product must first be returned in the condition you received it and in its original packaging.

 

Given the one-of-a-kind nature of my work, replacements are not possible.
